It is important that there are no obstacles between the reader and the tag. The tag must be in the line of sight and within the detection range for optimal performance.

Windshield Sticker Installation
1. Determine the best placement location of the tag. The best area of application is on the inside of the windshield in the middle, around the rearview mirror as there is a break in metalized content in this area in most vehicles. Be sure to mount the tag on the same side of the windshield as the installed reader.
*In some instances, higher-end vehicles or tinted windshields have metalized content in the area of recommended application. If this is the case, the external tag is the best alternative.
2. Clean the surface of desired application area. Test to see if the tag is detected in this area before removing the protection layer. This is done by using scotch tape to temporarily affix the tag to the windshield.
3. If the read is achieved, remove the protective layer. Avoid touching the adhesive side as much as possible.
4. Place the tag horizontally in the installation area.
5. You are ready to go!
Exterior Sticker Installation
1. Determine the best placement location of the tag. The best area of application is mounting the tag on the headlight on the same side of the vehicle as the installed reader.
*Some customers have had success placing their External Tags on other non-metal surfaces (side view mirror, etc.). Always test first.
2. Clean the surface of desired application area. Test to see is the tag is detected in this area before removing the protection layer. This is done by using scotch tape to temporarily affix the tag to the desired location. Follow all local compliances and avoid covering the headlamp’s bulb.
3. If the desired result is achieved, remove the protection layer. Avoid touching the adhesive side as much as possible.
4. Place the tag horizontally in the installation area.
5. You are ready to go!
